What is Humm?

Humm connects to your data sources and answers questions about your customers in plain English. Ask which accounts are at risk this week, where expansion opportunities are, or what happened with a specific customer — and get an answer with charts, tables, and next steps. Built for Customer Success, Post-Sales, and CX teams.

What you can do with Humm

Spot Churn Risk Early

Ask “which accounts are at risk?” and get a ranked list with the signals driving each score.

Find Expansion Opportunities

Ask “which customers are using feature X but not on the enterprise plan?” and get a target list.

Prep for Meetings in Minutes

Ask “prepare a QBR for Acme Corp” and get usage trends, health metrics, open tickets, and talking points.

How it works

  1. Connect your sources — Sign in to your SaaS tools, databases, or other systems.
  2. Humm learns your business — Humm automatically builds a knowledge graph of your data, entities, and relationships. Ready in minutes.
  3. Ask questions, get answers — Type a question in plain English. Humm queries your data and returns charts, tables, and recommendations.

Core Concepts

Understanding these five concepts will help you get the most out of Humm.

Threads

Threads are conversations with Humm. Ask a question, see the reasoning and the answer, then ask follow-ups to dig deeper. Threads save automatically so you can return to past analyses anytime.

Commands

Commands are reusable prompts that save you time on repetitive work. Instead of typing out the same detailed question each time, you create a Command once and run it whenever you need it. Common uses for Commands:
  • QBR preparation for a specific account
  • Weekly portfolio health reviews
  • New customer onboarding checklists
  • Churn risk assessments
Commands turn hours of meeting prep into minutes. You can create Commands for yourself or share them with your team.

Memories

Memories capture knowledge from your conversations — business definitions, data relationships, organizational context. Humm proposes them; you review and approve before they take effect. Over time, Memories make Humm’s answers more accurate for your specific business.

Integrations

Integrations connect Humm to your data. Warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Athena), CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot), product analytics (Mixpanel, Pendo), support tools (Intercom, Zendesk), and more. Setup takes a few minutes. Once connected, Humm discovers your schema automatically.

Ontology

The ontology maps your business entities (Customers, Accounts, Products), how they relate, and the metrics you care about. Humm generates it automatically from your integrations. You can refine it to match how your team talks about the business — better ontology means more accurate answers.
